Outstanding Interfraternity Council Scholarship

The Interfratenity (IFC) Executive Council will reward two IFC men that demonstrate exceptional academic, leadership, and service within the fraternity community. This scholarship is designed to honor individuals who have demonstrated a commitment to upholding the values of brotherhood, academic excellence, and community engagement. Students will be awarded a scholarship in the amount of $1000 in the Fall semester. When combined with other Samford aid this scholarship may not exceed a student’s charges for tuition, fees, room, and board. The scholarship will be rewarded based on a nomination from their chapter President and an essay submission to the following prompt. The IFC Executive Council will judge the essays based on a rubric that embodies the prompt.
